There are three options you can choose from:
Option A – Monash Sourced placement: Choose this option if you want the Faculty to find you a suitable placement. Note that this is a competitive process.
Option B – Student Sourced Placement: You may wish to approach a host organisation of your own choosing and find yourself a placement. We also list some opportunities from external organisations. These organisations have their own application process (and may involve a cost). Once you’re approved by them, we treat it as a self-sourced placement. For more details on how to find your own placement, see the Student Sourced Placements Page.
Option C – Monash Sourced, Special Criteria Placement: Some of our placement opportunities have special criteria associated with them (e.g. special skills or requirements). You will need to demonstrate how you meet the requirements.

You will need to seek advice from your Graduate Director of Programs once you have found a potential host or placement. You are able to find your own placement in Australia or internationally.
