ACMS Seminar: Research Impact and Public Engagement
In this first workshop of the 2018 series, speakers will focus on both academic and non-academic research impacts and public engagement. Speakers from Monash Library will talk about building research profile, while Film and Screen Studies Teaching Associate Kirsten Stevens and PhD candidates Britta Jorgensen and Elodie Silberstein will share their own experiences with public engagement.
The Asian Cultural and Media Studies (ACMS) Research Group invites those with research focusing on any aspect of Asian (including Australian) culture or media to join us in this relaxed, inclusive afternoon workshop.
ACMS provides a forum for the exchange of ideas related to research on media and cultural studies in Asian contexts. Housed under the School of Media, Film and Journalism, the group promotes cross-regional and inter-disciplinary collaborative research, bringing together academic staff and postgraduates from inside and outside the School.
