Monash Academy Orchestra, featuring Nigel Westlake, Lior Attar and Slava Grigoryan

National treasure and superb human being Nigel Westlake comes to Monash University to conduct his own works, featuring Slava Grigoryan, Leonard Grigoryan and vocalist Lior Attar. In the first half of this special concert, the Grigoryan brothers will perform some of Westlake’s music for solo and duo guitars, followed by a performance of Antarctica for guitar solo and orchestra. Compassion, which Westlake co-wrote with Lior, is one of the most moving concert works for voice and orchestra of recent years and has been acclaimed around the world following its premier with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Co-written by Nigel Westlake and Lior Attar.
