Synopsis:

The report provides a comparative analysis of seventeen NAPs to identify best practice and emerging approaches to engaging increasingly complex global realities. It begins with an analysis of the global issues that challenge WPS implementation, follow by a technically focused comparative analysis of the details of NAPs. The annexes provide the reader with ready-access to the specific of each NAP, coded by  issues, country, and feature.


Fourth Annual Civil Society Report Card on Australia’s National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security (2016-2017)

Synopsis:

This project draws upon analysis of civil society views to produce the annual shadow report of the Australian Government’s implementation of its National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security. It addresses the themes of Government-civil society engagement, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and overall impact. Using data gathered through online submissions and at the Annual Civil Society Dialogue, this Report seeks to provide overview, analysis and recommendations of Australia’s engagement with the Women, Peace and Security agenda.
