Professor Douglas Webber, INSEAD
It has become fashionable in recent times to talk about ‘interregionalism' and ‘interregional' relations. But to what extent and in what sense does interregionalism exist, if at all?
This seminar will explore this issue, referring empirically to European-American, Asian-American and European-Asian relations.
Douglas Webber is Professor of Political Science at the international business school INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France and Singapore) and Adjunct Principal Research Fellow and currently Visiting International Fellow at the Monash European and EU Centre.
He has published extensively in social science journals in the UK, Germany and the US and worked at universities and research centres in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Germany and Italy. His main research interests are in German politics, Franco-German relations, EU politics, and regional political integration in Europe and Asia.
