A Summer School held at the Monash Prato Campus in July 2012 now has an online presence. The school was an immersion course in the practice and approach of narrative research, a qualitative technique that
examines the complexity of narratives and explores relationships between personal narratives and the social world.
This emergent research practice is providing valuable means of exploring and explaining these personal-social interactions. The school was convened by members of the Centre for Narrative Research at the University of East London with associates from Monash University and Erasmus-linked Linkoping University, and attended by researchers and students from Australia, Bulgaria, Finland, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, and the UK.
